The 22nd annual Art to Wear Show at the Madison and Main Gallery features work by guest artists who are new to the gallery. The pieces in this show encompass an array of jewelry, a variety of purses from knitted to felted, coats, jackets and other woven wearables. All are meant to adorn the body.
The members of the artist-owned gallery invite you to join them for this show that opens August 31 and runs through October 30, 2009. Meet the artists during the public opening reception planned for Friday, September 4, from 5-7 pm at the gallery, 927 16th Street, in Greeley. Gallery hours are 10 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday and 10 am to 4 pm Saturday.
The list of guest artists includes Lucilia Begay, Dianne Foreman, Jennie Milner, the jewelry makers of La Chureca, Susan Nelson, Deb Coombs, Tamilia Porter, Sharelle Pankey, Cori D. Barrere, Joyce Fritz, and Kate Cox.
Deb and Dan Augenstein will be demonstrating their expertise at bead making with polymer clay from 5 pm to 7 pm on First Friday, October 2, at the Madison and Main Gallery. Come by and watch them assemble mille fiore canes. After visiting with Deb and Dan, browse around the gallery to find that unique gift for someone special or a new piece of art for your home.

The Members’ Show at the Madison & Main Gallery features fresh, new work by all the member artists. The pieces are thought provoking, vibrant with color, or filled with whimsy. The work will include functional and decorative pottery, oil paintings, watercolors, acrylic paintings, jewelry, handmade paper, collage, and photography.
The working members of the gallery invite you to join them for this show that opens June 29 and runs through August 28, 2009. Meet the artists during the public opening reception planned for July 3, from 5-7 p.m. at the Gallery, 927 16th Street in Greeley. The Madison & Main Gallery is artist-owned. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday..

During the run of the show there will be a First Friday Celebration on August 7, 5-7 pm with members of the gallery giving pottery demonstrations.

If your garden grows anything like Madison & Main's newest show, be prepared for a bumper crop and a huge variety. The show features almost as many media as artists. All are vibrant with color, from stained glass to clay beetles, from photography to pottery, from feather flowers to watercolors, from nature inspired jewelry to glass blown insects.
Fourteen guest artists have been invited to join the gallery’s members in this fabulous new show that opens March 30 and runs through June 26, 2009. Meet the artists during the public opening reception planned for April 3, from 5-7 p.m. at the Gallery, 927 16th Street in Greeley. The Madison & Main is an artists-owned gallery. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday..
The slate of new guest artists include Michelene Berkey, Jada Claussen, Jason Dunks, Joyce Fritz, Pamella Goff, Robin Grabowski, Molly Hargarten, Stan Kerns, Sandie Mackenzie, Cheryl Miller, Lana Poppe, Jennifer Rudkin, Tim Schuette, and James Young.
During the run of the show there will be two other First Friday Celebrations with members of the gallery giving demonstrations. First Friday May 1, 5-7 pm Susan Safarik - watercolor demonstration and First Friday June 5, 5-7 pm Susan Haskins oil painting demonstration.

First Friday Celebration, Madison and Main Gallery - March 6, 2009
Daniel Augenstein, artist and art teacher, will be demonstrating his use of watercolor pencils both as a drawing and painting medium from 5 pm to 7 pm on First Friday, March 6, at the Madison and Main Gallery. First Friday Celebration- February 6, 2009
Judith Meyers will be cutting silhouettes from 4-8 pm on First Friday, February 6, at the Madison and Main Gallery. Come and have a silhouette cut for your special Valentine. All ages are welcome, babies through adult. You will receive 2 identical, mounted and signed silhouettes ready to be framed for $10. Cutting will continue Saturday, February 7 from 10 am-2 pm. Chocolate will be served.

Winter Lights
Art … the ultimate gift. "Winter Lights," Madison & Main Gallery's 22nd annual holiday show will feature original art, unique gifts, and one-of-a-kind ornaments. Sixteen guest artists have been invited to join the gallery’s members in this fabulous new show that opens November 3 and runs through December 31. Meet the artists during the opening reception planned for First Friday, November 7, from 5-7 p.m. at the gallery, 927 16th Street in Greeley. Madison & Main is an artists-owned gallery. An open house is also planned for the December 5, First Friday from 5-7 p.m. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
The slate of new guest artists includes Jeff Becker hand made books, Elisabeth Delehaunty recycled clothing, Pamella Goff silverware crafted into flowers, dragonflies and bugs, Wendy Wham Miller small landscape paintings, Baca St. Onge wrapped dichoric glass jewelry, Allen Ritzman copper ornaments and boxes, Jennifer Rudkin clay animal sculpture and ornaments, Marissa Perry Saints - Kristen Salsa gourd art, Donna Schneider unique bears with personality, Carol Simmons wrapped serving pieces, and Slowsky Glass Art glass ornaments.
The additional guest artists who are already familiar to the gallery are Miya Cline - intricate origami ornaments, Leah Simmons DeCapio small pottery pieces, Nellie and Francis Denning - stained glass, Ron Duckworth - glass hummingbirds, Vanora Savig - ornaments, Doriann Thompson - small quilts and fabric bowls.
